Liu Ce began his professional journey with a strong foundation in Sanda and kickboxing, eventually moving into mixed martial arts. Representing the Tangshan Buntai Riding Fight Club and CFP, the Chinese fighter maintains an orthodox stance. His prior professional resume includes significant success in the kickboxing world, notably claiming the K-1 Cruiserweight title and winning the 2023 K-1 30th Anniversary Openweight Tournament. This background serves as the base for his current transition into the UFC.

Heading into UFC Freedom 250, Liu carries an overall professional mixed martial arts record of three wins and one defeat. His most recent appearance occurred on May 23, 2026, where he secured a technical knockout victory over Igor Barabanov. Before that, he suffered a loss against Ivan Gnizditskiy in October 2024. Earlier, he achieved consecutive knockout wins against Batjargal Munkh-Erdene and Yu Haiming.
