Hailing from Handan, China, Zhang Weili started martial arts training at age six and turned professional in 2013. Nicknamed "Magnum," this switch-stance competitor features a dynamic style and trains with Fight Ready, Black Tiger Fight Club, and Bangtao Muay Thai & MMA. Competing in the strawweight and flyweight divisions, she became the first Chinese athlete to win a UFC title during her two championship reigns.
Entering her 2026-07-18 bout at UFC Fight Night: du Plessis vs. Usman with a 5-3-0 record, Zhang seeks to rebound from a unanimous decision loss to Valentina Shevchenko. Before that defeat, she earned a submission win over Carla Esparza, followed by consecutive decision victories against Amanda Lemos, Yan Xiaonan, and Tatiana Suarez.
