Orthodox lightweight Joe Solecki, training with Team Balance, is an American fighter from Wenonah, New Jersey. Beginning his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training at age six, Solecki built his fighting style around the discipline. Since his 2019 debut in the organization, he secured a key victory over Jim Miller and claimed a Performance of the Night award.
Entering UFC Fight Night: du Plessis vs. Usman with a 13-6-0 record, Solecki seeks to rebound from consecutive losses, having most recently dropped a unanimous decision to Grant Dawson after a slam-KO defeat against Drakkar Klose. Prior to those setbacks, Solecki earned a majority decision over Alex da Silva Coelho, a rear-naked choke technical submission against Carl Deaton III, and fell to Jared Gordon by split decision.
