An orthodox light heavyweight fighter from Fort Morgan, Colorado, Dustin "The Hanyak" Jacoby built his mixed martial arts career on a strong background in kickboxing. Training out of the Factory X Muay Thai camp, the American athlete has earned multiple Performance of the Night bonuses during his tenure in the UFC. Prior to his upcoming appearance, he accumulated an overall professional record of 22 wins, 10 losses, and one draw.
Heading into UFC Fight Night: du Plessis vs. Usman with a recent 4-3-0 stretch, Jacoby is riding a three-fight winning streak. After suffering a unanimous decision loss to Alonzo Menifield and a knockout defeat against Dominick Reyes, he rebounded in dominant fashion. He secured consecutive stoppage victories, knocking out Vitor Petrino and Bruno Lopes before delivering a technical knockout to Julius Walker in his most recent outing.
