CHRISTIAN EDWARDS

The Welsh native Christian Edwards makes his transition to the octagon following an extensive professional athletic background. He previously dedicated his career to football, serving as a central defender for organizations including Swansea City, Nottingham Forest, and Bristol Rovers. Beyond his time on the pitch, he represented his home nation internationally during the mid-nineties. Following his playing days, he shifted focus toward coaching duties, eventually securing managerial positions with Cardiff Metropolitan University and Aberystwyth Town.

This upcoming appearance at UFC Fight Night: du Plessis vs. Usman marks the debut of Edwards as a professional mixed martial artist. He enters the competition with a total record of zero victories and zero losses, having no history of prior bouts within the cage.
