SEAN WOODSON

Representing the United States, Sean Woodson competes within the featherweight ranks of the UFC. The St. Louis native developed his striking foundation through backgrounds in kickboxing and amateur boxing before gaining entry into the promotion via Dana White's Contender Series. He primarily conducts his training at Glory MMA and Fitness alongside the Wolves' Den Training Center. Throughout his tenure, Woodson has displayed a consistent preference for stand-up combat, earning significant victories against opponents such as Charles Jourdain and Alex Caceres.

Entering the matchup with a career mark of 13-2-1, the featherweight veteran arrives following a mixed run of recent performances. His last trip to the cage resulted in a technical knockout defeat against Dan Ige in April 2025. Prior to that setback, he enjoyed a four-fight winning streak, which included finishes of Fernando Padilla and decision victories over Alex Caceres, Charles Jourdain, and Dennis Buzukja.
