Representing Panama, Joselyne Edwards built her professional foundation through boxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu before entering the professional mixed martial arts scene in 2015. After securing regional gold in her home country and capturing the bantamweight title within the King of the Cage organization, she made the jump to the UFC in 2021. Operating out of the Kings MMA gym, the orthodox striker competes in the women’s bantamweight weight class and is presently positioned among the top contenders in her division.
Entering this contest with a career mark of 18-6-0, Edwards arrives on a five-fight winning streak. Her recent activity includes a unanimous decision victory over Norma Dumont and a submission finish against Nora Cornolle. She also earned a knockout of Priscila Cachoeira, a technical knockout of Chelsea Chandler, and a submission win over Tamires Vidal.
