Kamaru Usman is a Nigerian-American fighter who trains at Onx Sports. After capturing the 2010 NCAA Division II wrestling title, he emerged as a dominant force in mixed martial arts by winning The Ultimate Fighter 21. Utilizing his expert grappling background, he climbed to the top of the welterweight division to become the undisputed champion. During his tenure, he achieved the longest winning streak in the history of that weight class, reaching fifteen straight victories. His storied run featured significant triumphs against established champions like Rafael dos Anjos, Tyron Woodley, and Colby Covington. He has since transitioned between the welterweight and middleweight categories, continuing to apply his orthodox stance in competition.
