FARID BASHARAT

An Afghan-born British bantamweight, Farid "Ferocious" Basharat fights from an orthodox stance and trains at Xtreme Couture. He launched his professional career in 2018 on the English regional scene. Known for a well-rounded skill set that yields both submissions and decision wins, the undefeated competitor earned his UFC contract following a victory on Dana White's Contender Series.

Heading into UFC Fight Night: Medić vs. Rodriguez, Basharat holds an unblemished 8-0 record. His recent run features five straight victories, beginning with an arm-triangle choke submission of Kleydson Rodrigues.
