Elise Reed is an American mixed martial artist representing the Kickside Martial Arts gym in the strawweight division. Before joining the UFC, she reigned as the strawweight champion for Cage Fury Fighting Championships, where she executed two successful title defenses. Her competitive foundation relies on a background in kickboxing and Taekwondo, which she utilizes within her orthodox stance. Her professional resume includes notable UFC triumphs over Jessica Penne and Jinh Yu Frey. Outside of the octagon, she serves in the Army Reserve and manages martial arts training centers in New Jersey.

Entering the event, Reed holds an overall professional record of 8-5-0. Her path to this matchup includes a submission defeat to Loma Lookboonmee followed by a win against Jinh Yu Frey.
