DANIEL RODRIGUEZ

A southpaw welterweight from Alhambra, California, Daniel Rodriguez initiated his professional MMA run in 2015 after a short amateur career. The explosive American trains at BMF Ranch and Syndicate MMA, and he received a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu purple belt from Eddie Bravo. Over his career, which includes bouts in Combate Americas, he has secured notable wins over Kevin Lee and Mike Perry.

Holding a 4-3-0 pre-event record, Rodriguez enters UFC Fight Night: Medić vs. Rodriguez on a three-fight winning streak. After consecutive defeats—a TKO loss to Ian Machado Garry and a decision loss to Kelvin Gastelum—he rebounded by defeating Alex Morono via split decision.
