Hailing from Brazil, Beatriz Mesquita brings an extensive background as a world-champion practitioner of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and an IBJJF Hall of Fame inductee to the octagon. She began her professional mixed martial arts journey in 2024 and currently prepares for competition at American Top Team. Before signing with the UFC, she proved her mettle by capturing the LFA Women's Bantamweight title. Her approach inside the cage remains deeply influenced by her world-class grappling expertise, which has consistently led to finishes via various submission holds throughout her professional tenure.

The undefeated fighter enters this event with an unblemished career record of 8-0-0. Her momentum includes a recent armbar victory over Melissa Mullins this past June, following rear-naked choke submissions against Montserrat Rendon and Irina Alekseeva. She also secured a TKO win versus Sierra Dinwoodie and a disqualification victory against Hope Chase.
