A British bantamweight competitor originally from Afghanistan, Javid Basharat trains at Xtreme Couture. Known as "The Snow Leopard," he began in taekwondo before switching to mixed martial arts. His grappling prowess helped him stay undefeated early on and claim the 2018 CON Bantamweight Championship, eventually earning notable victories over Tony Gravely and Oron Kahlon.
Heading into UFC Fight Night: Bautista vs. Oliveira, Basharat carries a 14-2 record with one no contest. Following decision victories against Gravely and Mateus Mendonça, his match with Victor Henry was ruled a no contest after an accidental groin kick.
