Afghan-born British bantamweight Farid Basharat, nicknamed Ferocious, fights out of London, England, and trains at Xtreme Couture. The orthodox competitor began his professional mixed martial arts journey in 2018. Basharat has established himself in the UFC with an undefeated run, earning victories through both submissions and decisions.

Entering UFC Fight Night: Bautista vs. Oliveira, Basharat boasts a perfect 14-0-0 record. His recent streak includes consecutive unanimous decision wins over Chris Gutiérrez in October 2025, Victor Hugo in October 2024, and Taylor Lapilus in January 2024. Prior to those victories, he secured an arm-triangle choke submission against Kleydson Rodrigues in September 2023 and a unanimous decision against Da'Mon Blackshear in March 2023.
