CURTIS BLAYDES

An American heavyweight competitor, Curtis Blaydes honed his skills at the Elevation Fight Team camp after establishing himself as a decorated collegiate wrestler. Since entering the promotion in 2016, he has become a divisional staple, utilizing his elite grappling background to secure the organization record for most heavyweight takedowns. Throughout his tenure, he has consistently faced high-level opposition while earning various performance bonuses for his active approach to combat.

Entering UFC 332, Blaydes holds an overall record of 20-6-0 with one no-contest. His recent activity shows mixed results leading into this appearance. He successfully bested Waldo Cortes-Acosta via unanimous decision in September 2026, which followed a unanimous decision defeat against Josh Hokit earlier that year. Previously, he earned a split decision victory over Rizvan Kuniev, suffered a knockout loss to Tom Aspinall, and secured a knockout win versus Jailton Almeida.
