The American athlete from Chicago developed his craft at the Roufusport facility, building a reputation as a high-volume striker and wrestler. Before entering the octagon, he claimed the Titan FC Welterweight belt. Joining the premier mixed martial arts organization in 2016, he displayed significant durability while facing elite competition like Gilbert Burns and Demian Maia. His career trajectory hit its peak in July 2024, when he defeated Leon Edwards to secure the UFC Welterweight Championship.
Entering this contest with a professional standing of 24 wins, 6 losses, and one no-contest, the veteran arrives at UFC 332 following a difficult stretch. He is currently looking to bounce back from three consecutive unanimous decision defeats against Gabriel Bonfim, Ian Machado Garry, and Jack Della Maddalena. This event marks his return to action.
