ALEXANDRE PANTOJA

Hailing from Brazil, Alexandre Pantoja evolved into a decorated flyweight standout after emerging from The Ultimate Fighter: Tournament of Champions. A black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu representing American Top Team, he developed a reputation for clinical grappling and persistent finishing ability. His career reached its zenith when he captured the UFC Flyweight Championship by overcoming Brandon Moreno. Throughout his tenure in the division, he established multiple organizational benchmarks, including holding the records for the most victories, finishes, and submissions recorded within the weight class.

The Brazilian enters UFC 332 holding a professional record of 30-7-0. His momentum has slowed recently following a string of high-level contests. Prior to his current matchup, he suffered back-to-back losses against Joshua Van, falling by unanimous decision and a technical knockout involving an arm injury. Before this recent slide, Pantoja demonstrated his grappling prowess with consecutive submission wins over Kai Kara-France and Kai Asakura, following a unanimous decision victory against Steve Erceg.
