The Austrian fighter Aleksandar Rakic built a professional career centered on striking skills refined through boxing and kickboxing training. Initially competing within the light heavyweight class, he eventually transitioned to the heavyweight division in 2026. Representing American Top Team, he secured early high-profile triumphs against experienced opponents such as Thiago Santos and Anthony Smith after rising through the European fighting ranks.
Rakic enters his current contest at UFC 332 with a professional ledger featuring fifteen victories and six defeats. His recent performance history includes a unanimous decision win over Marcin Tybura in August 2026. Prior to that victory, he experienced a sequence of losses against Azamat Murzakanov, Magomed Ankalaev, Jiri Prochazka, and Jan Blachowicz. He prepares for this upcoming match maintaining an orthodox fighting stance.
