Hailing from Houston, Texas, Adrian Yañez is a bantamweight fighter who sharpened his skills in boxing and Brazilian jiu-jitsu from age fifteen. After competing in LFA and securing a contract via Dana White's Contender Series, he joined the UFC roster. Training out of Metro Fight Club, the orthodox combatant established a reputation for aggressive striking, which has earned him several performance awards throughout his tenure in the promotion.
Yañez enters UFC 332 holding a professional record of 18-6-1. His recent campaign shows a mixed trajectory leading up to this matchup. He rebounded from a split decision setback against Daniel Marcos in late 2024 by securing a technical knockout victory over Vinicius Salvador. Following a majority draw with Ricky Simón this past March, he most recently defeated Cody Garbrandt via punches in July 2026.
