CHAN SUNG JUNG

Hailing from South Korea, Chan Sung Jung began his professional career in 2007. He competed in promotions like Sengoku and WEC before establishing himself as a top contender in the UFC featherweight division. Training out of Korean Zombie MMA and Fight Ready, the orthodox fighter gained a reputation for extreme durability and high-action performances. His resume includes significant victories over notable names such as Frankie Edgar, Renato Moicano, and Dustin Poirier. Throughout his tenure, he achieved distinction for his aggressive approach, including executing the first twister submission in league history, while maintaining his status as a prominent division figure following his military service.
