JOSELYNE EDWARDS

Hailing from Panama, Joselyne Edwards began her martial arts journey by training in boxing and Brazilian jiu-jitsu before starting her professional career at seventeen. The Kings MMA representative previously captured bantamweight championships for the UCC and KOTC promotions on the regional circuit. Upon reaching the major leagues in 2021, she moved between the bantamweight and featherweight classes. Her tenure has been marked by challenges with weight management, as she failed to meet the bantamweight threshold on two separate occasions during her octagon appearances.

Entering this contest, the orthodox fighter holds a career mark of 13-5-0. Her recent activity shows a mix of results, beginning with a unanimous decision setback against Jessica-Rose Clark. She subsequently rebounded with three straight victories via decision over Ramona Pascual, Ji Yeon Kim, and Lucie Pudilová. Most recently, she suffered a unanimous decision loss to Nora Cornolle in September 2023.
