Derrick Lewis is an American heavyweight competitor training out of 4oz Fight Club. Originally hailing from New Orleans, he transitioned into combat sports in Houston following a period of incarceration. Since entering the octagon in 2014, he has built a reputation centered on heavy striking and holds the organizational record for the most total knockouts. Before moving to the highest level of the sport, he captured the Legacy FC heavyweight title. An orthodox fighter, he is recognized for his capacity to power out of unfavorable positions on the ground.
