Bo Nickal represents the United States within the middleweight class while training alongside the American Top Team squad. Before pursuing mixed martial arts, he compiled a legendary collegiate wrestling background highlighted by three NCAA Division I championships and the Dan Hodge Trophy. Since shifting his focus to the cage, the southpaw has leveraged his high-level grappling expertise to secure a roster spot through the Contender Series.

Heading into this matchup, Nickal maintains an unblemished professional resume of five victories without a single defeat. His most recent success occurred in July 2023 when he stopped Val Woodburn with strikes. This performance followed back-to-back submission triumphs over Jamie Pickett and Donovan Beard. Earlier in his young tenure, he also secured stoppage wins against Zachary Borrego and John Noland.
