ALEXA GRASSO

Representing Mexico, Alexa Grasso trains at Lobo Gym MMA as a competitor in the Ultimate Fighting Championship flyweight class. She initially campaigned at strawweight before transitioning up in weight three years ago. Throughout her professional tenure, she has developed a reputation for polished boxing skills and proficient grappling, which is supported by her brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Her trajectory reached a historic milestone when she became the inaugural female athlete from her country to capture a major promotional belt by defeating Valentina Shevchenko.

Entering the September 2023 contest, Grasso held a cumulative mark of 16-3-1. Her current sequence includes a split draw against Shevchenko, preceded by a face crank submission victory over the same opponent. Before that, she secured consecutive unanimous decision wins against Viviane Araujo and Maycee Barber, along with a rear-naked choke finish versus Joanne Wood.
