Hailing from Japan, Kyoji Horiguchi developed his combat base through Shotokan Karate. Throughout his professional journey, he has balanced competition between the bantamweight and flyweight classes while training at American Top Team. His resume features championship belts earned across Shooto, Rizin, and Bellator. During his earlier tenure with the UFC, he earned a title opportunity in the flyweight category. Known for high-level agility and explosive offensive maneuvers, the orthodox fighter maintains a decorated status in the global arena.
