Yan Xiaonan is a Chinese athlete who specializes in Sanda. Her professional journey began in 2008, leading her through organizations like Martial Combat and Road FC. As a strawweight competitor, she relies on her striking abilities developed through her martial arts background. She holds the distinction of being the first woman from China to secure a contract with the UFC.

Training at China Top Team, she entered her upcoming appearance with an unblemished professional record of zero wins and zero losses. Having yet to compete in a sanctioned bout, she approached this contest as a debutant.
