KENNEDY NZECHUKWU

Born in Nigeria and relocating to the United States during 2010, Kennedy Nzechukwu developed his skills at War Room MMA. The southpaw fighter climbed from the regional scene into the UFC after competing on Dana White’s Contender Series. Throughout his professional tenure, he has navigated both the light heavyweight and heavyweight weight classes. He collected various performance bonuses throughout his run, highlighted by successful outings against competitors like Ion Cuțelaba and Łukasz Brzeski.

Entering the event with a total record of 14-7-1, Nzechukwu faces a challenging stretch of competition. His most recent appearance resulted in a knockout loss against Shamil Gaziev in August 2026. Prior to that, he fought to a unanimous draw with Marcus Buchecha and suffered a submission defeat at the hands of Valter Walker. He seeks to regain momentum following back-to-back victories over Łukasz Brzeski and Chris Barnett during late 2024.
