An American middleweight fighter, Cody Brundage developed his grappling skills as a standout wrestler at Chapin High School and Newberry College. Before reaching the UFC, he established himself on the regional scene by winning titles in two different weight classes at Lights Out Championship. Now training with the Factory X squad in Colorado, he maintains an orthodox stance while utilizing his wrestling background. Throughout his time in the promotion, he has secured two Performance of the Night bonuses through finishes against Zachary Reese and Dalcha Lungiambula.

Heading into his matchup at UFC Fight Night: Silva vs. Delgado, Brundage holds an overall professional record of 12-9-1 with one no-contest. His recent activity shows a victory over Andre Petroski via punches, preceded by a split decision loss to Donte Johnson. He also experienced a technical knockout defeat against Cameron Rowston, a split decision setback versus Eric McConico, and a draw against Mansur Abdul-Malik that was eventually overturned.
