American strawweight Elise Reed represents Kickside Martial Arts. Having practiced Taekwondo since age six, she holds a fourth-degree black belt and began kickboxing at fifteen. In her early career, Reed won the Cage Fury FC strawweight belt and defended it twice. She also holds notable career victories over Cory McKenna and Jessica Penne.
Holding a 3-4-0 record ahead of UFC Fight Night: Kape vs. Horiguchi, Reed has alternated outcomes recently. In 2023, she suffered rear-naked choke defeats to Loma Lookboonmee and Lupita Godinez, sandwiching a unanimous decision win over Jinh Yu Frey. She then beat Jessica Penne by unanimous decision in October 2024, before losing her most recent bout against Denise Gomes by TKO punches in May 2025.
