DANILO MARQUES

Hailing from São Paulo, Brazilian heavyweight Danilo Marques trains out of Kings MMA. He developed a well-rounded skillset by practicing taekwondo and boxing before transitioning to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. This diverse background helped him secure various victories through submissions and decisions. After competing inside the UFC octagon, Marques transitioned to the Professional Fighters League.

Marques enters UFC Fight Night: Kape vs. Horiguchi holding a 15-6-0 record. Over his last five appearances, he secured a rear-naked choke submission over Ras Hylton and a unanimous decision against Yorgan De Castro. After suffering a knockout loss from punches to Marcelo Nunes, he rebounded with a unanimous decision victory over Satoshi Ishii. Most recently, he fell to Timothy Johnson via a technical knockout from punches.
