CODY GARBRANDT

Hailing from the United States, Cody Garbrandt transitioned into mixed martial arts following his background in amateur boxing. A former titleholder in the bantamweight division, he famously secured the belt by defeating Dominick Cruz in 2016 before eventually dropping the championship to T.J. Dillashaw. Throughout his lengthy tenure with the organization, he has maintained a presence across both the bantamweight and flyweight weight classes. He currently prepares for his upcoming competition while training under the Xtreme Couture banner.

The American enters this matchup holding a professional record of 14-7-0. His most recent appearance resulted in a unanimous decision defeat against Raoni Barcelos in June 2025. Prior to that setback, he was submitted by Deiveson Figueiredo.
