Born in Vienna to a Serbian family, this Austrian athlete evolved into professional mixed martial arts following deep experience in boxing and kickboxing. He primarily contested bouts within the light heavyweight weight class after joining the promotion in 2017. Training out of American Top Team and Gym 23, the orthodox fighter secured career highlights against opponents such as Anthony Smith and Thiago Santos. After navigating challenging encounters against elite athletes in his original division, he shifted his focus toward the heavyweight ranks leading into 2026.

Holding a professional record of 14-6-0, the heavyweight enters his latest assignment following a difficult stretch of competition. His most recent appearance ended in a TKO defeat against Azamat Murzakanov. Prior to that setback, he dropped a unanimous decision to Magomed Ankalaev and suffered a TKO loss versus Jiri Prochazka. Further backward in his record, he was defeated by Jan Blachowicz due to a knee injury in May 2022. This period of inactivity followed his previous victory against Thiago Santos in March 2021.
