Kayla Harrison, an American fighter training out of American Top Team, is renowned for her exceptional grappling skills and suffocating top control. Her combat sports legacy includes winning a pair of PFL Lightweight tournaments and earning two Olympic gold medals in judo, making her the only female athlete to capture both Olympic gold and a major UFC championship. Since joining the UFC, she has successfully dropped to the bantamweight division, where she claimed the title during the summer of 2025.
With an impressive career mark of 19-1-0, Harrison is currently riding a wave of success. Her recent resume features a submission win over Julianna Peña and a unanimous decision against Ketlen Vieira. These triumphs followed a rear-naked choke victory against Holly Holm and a decision win over Aspen Ladd. Throughout her professional tenure, her only setback has been a loss to Larissa Pacheco.
