JUSSIER FORMIGA

Jussier Formiga is a Brazilian flyweight fighter who sharpened his skills at American Top Team. Holding black belts in Judo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, he established himself as a grappler through his early success as a Shooto South American champion. Before his departure from the sport's premier organization in 2020, he spent eight seasons competing against the division's top-tier talent. Throughout his tenure, he secured significant victories, most notably defeating Deiveson Figueiredo by unanimous decision in 2019.

Entering this event, Formiga maintains a career record of 24-8-0. His recent history shows a mixed run of results leading up to his current appearance.
