Cody Durden represents the United States within the flyweight ranks. The Georgian native began his athletic journey as a high-level high school wrestler before moving into mixed martial arts. He refined his craft at American Top Team and secured the bantamweight title for Valor Fighting Challenge prior to his 2020 arrival in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Across his professional journey, he has displayed versatility by securing victories through knockouts, submissions, and judge scorecards while competing from a southpaw stance.

Entering this contest, the athlete carries a career professional record of 18-11-1. His recent campaign shows mixed outcomes, beginning with a knockout defeat against Jose Ochoa and a submission loss to Allan Nascimento.
