CHARLES JOHNSON

Hailing from the United States, Charles Johnson competes in the flyweight class. He sharpened his skills at Murcielago MMA after transitioning from a background in high school wrestling and professional boxing. During his earlier tenure in the Legacy Fighting Alliance, he secured the organization’s flyweight championship by overcoming Yuma Horiuchi. He subsequently protected that belt through successful title defenses against Carlos Mota and Juan Camilo. Since joining the UFC roster in 2022, he has frequently been recognized for his performances, collecting multiple bonus awards for his in-cage efforts.

Johnson enters this contest holding a professional record of twenty wins and nine losses. His most recent outings show mixed results, starting with a knockout victory over Lone'er Kavanagh followed by a decision defeat against Alex Perez. He then earned a split decision win against Bruno Gustavo da Silva before a submission setback versus Asu Almabayev.
