Hailing from Moldova, Alexandr Romanov established himself as a formidable heavyweight competitor through a background in elite freestyle wrestling and sumo. After starting his professional mixed martial arts path in 2016, he claimed the Eagles FC Heavyweight Championship during his time on the regional circuit. He later spent multiple years competing inside the octagon before transitioning to the Professional Fighters League in 2025. With a base in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and a wrestling-centric approach, he frequently utilizes grappling maneuvers to secure victories.
