JAN BŁACHOWICZ

Hailing from Poland, Jan Blachowicz established himself as a prominent light heavyweight competitor within the UFC. After excelling in Muay Thai and judo, he became a champion in the KSW organization before joining the premier global promotion in 2014. As the first male Polish titlist in UFC history, he utilized his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt and versatile striking to earn major wins against top-tier opponents including Israel Adesanya, Dominick Reyes, and Luke Rockhold. The Berkut WCA Fight Team member remains an orthodox fighter who has anchored the division for over a decade.

Entering the event, the veteran holds a professional record of 29-12-2. His recent form includes a technical knockout defeat to Navajo Stirling in August 2026. Prior to that, he fought to a majority draw against Bogdan Guskov in December 2025. His previous three appearances resulted in a unanimous decision loss to Carlos Ulberg, a split decision setback against Alex Pereira, and a split draw versus Magomed Ankalaev.
