CODY GARBRANDT

Hailing from the United States, Cody Garbrandt launched his professional mixed martial arts journey in 2012 following a background in collegiate wrestling and amateur boxing. Upon joining the UFC in 2015, he climbed the ranks as a bantamweight and ultimately secured the divisional championship by defeating Dominick Cruz in 2016. Throughout his tenure with the promotion, he has navigated challenges across both the bantamweight and flyweight weight classes while training out of Xtreme Couture.

Entering this competition with a career record of 15-8, the American fighter arrives following a technical knockout setback against Adrian Yanez in July 2026. Prior to that loss, his recent activity included a unanimous decision victory over Xiao Long in March 2026, preceded by a decision defeat to Raoni Barcelos and a submission loss to Deiveson Figueiredo. He also earned a knockout win against Brian Kelleher in late 2023.
