CHRISTIAN EDWARDS

Christian Edwards represents Wales as a debut athlete following a significant tenure in professional football. Across his sporting history, the central defender logged more than three hundred appearances for organizations such as Nottingham Forest, Bristol Rovers, and Swansea City. Beyond his time on the pitch, he secured a singular international cap for his home nation in 1996. After retiring from active competition, he shifted his focus toward coaching and academic pursuits. He eventually took charge of Cardiff Metropolitan University while concurrently earning a PhD from that institution.

Entering his first sanctioned cage appearance at UFC Fight Night: Gamrot vs. Salkilld, the Welshman holds a professional record of zero wins, zero losses, and zero draws. This bout marks his inaugural professional contest in the sport.
