KENNEDY NZECHUKWU

Born in Nigeria, Kennedy Nzechukwu relocated to the United States before embarking on his professional fighting journey. He gained early experience within regional organizations such as XKO and LFA prior to joining the UFC roster. Initially competing as a light heavyweight, the southpaw spent time training at Fortis MMA before eventually moving to War Room MMA. He returned to the heavyweight division during 2024. Throughout his career, he has secured various performance bonuses, including notable knockout victories against competitors like Ion Cuțelaba and Łukasz Brzeski.

Nzechukwu enters this contest with a professional ledger consisting of fourteen victories, six defeats, and one draw. His most recent outing resulted in a unanimous decision draw against Marcus Buchecha in December 2025. Before that encounter, he suffered a submission loss to Valter Walker. He rebounded from a split decision defeat against Ovince Saint Preux by securing consecutive technical knockout wins over Łukasz Brzeski and Chris Barnett during the latter half of 2024.
