Hailing from Safford, Arizona, American lightweight Justin Gaethje trains with Elevation Fight Team. The orthodox competitor is highly regarded for his aggressive style and striking power, qualities that have secured him several Fight of the Night bonuses. Over his career, he captured the WSOF Lightweight Championship and made history as the first competitor to hold the UFC's interim lightweight title twice.

Holding a 6-2-0 record before UFC 330, Gaethje enters the event following three straight victories. His recent stretch began with a head-kick knockout of Dustin Poirier in July 2023, followed by a knockout loss to Max Holloway in April 2024. Since then, he captured consecutive unanimous decisions over Rafael Fiziev and Paddy Pimblett, followed by a corner-stoppage technical knockout victory against Ilia Topuria in June 2026.
