Representing Brazil, Diego Lopes operates out of Lobo Gym MMA as an orthodox featherweight competitor. Before reaching the global stage, he captured the LUX Fight League featherweight title. He transitioned into the UFC following an appearance on Dana White’s Contender Series. Throughout his tenure in the promotion, he gained notoriety for his high-level Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu skills, consistent bonus-winning displays, and frequent finishes. He has maintained a presence within the top tiers of the weight class by engaging in several high-profile bouts.

Lopes enters this contest with a professional resume of twenty-eight wins and eight losses. His recent activity features a knockout victory against Steve Garcia this past June. Prior to that, he experienced a unanimous decision loss to Alexander Volkanovski in February 2026.
